Microfol's modern compound manufacturing facility is equipped with state-of-the-art twin-screw extruders, which are complemented by extensive peripheral equipment such as silos, dosing stations, melt filtration, strand, water ring and underwater pelletizing systems, and mixing stations.

Quality management is firmly established at Microfol. Since its foundation, the company has introduced a quality management system (ISO 9001:2015) and an energy management system (ISO 50001:2011) for the development, manufacture, and distribution of compounds, and operates on this basis. Microfol also complies with various internal and external safety and quality measures: For example, the compounds are characterized and documented by data sheets, safety data sheets, declarations of conformity, and factory test certificates.
