In combination with other materials (e.g., nonwovens), they offer a high barrier effect with unrestricted breathability despite their low weight.
Their wind and rain resistance make breathable films ideal for use as diffusion-open laminates, e.g., as roof underlays, but also in baby diapers, textiles, shoes, etc.
