Privacy Policy
Scope
This privacy policy informs users of the nature, extent and purpose of collection and use of their personal data by the provider (Microfol Compounding GmbH, Michael-Och-Straße 5−7, 96215 Lichtenfels, Germany, phone: +49 9571 94965-0, info@microfol.de) on this website (hereinafter referred to as the ‘offer’).
The Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG) form the legal basis for processing personal data.
Access data / Server log files
The provider (or the web host) collects data about every access to the offer (‘server log files’). Access data include the following:
name of the accessed web page, filename, date and time of access, volume of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address (truncated) and requesting provider.
The provider uses the log data solely for statistical analysis for the purposes of operation, safeguarding and optimisation of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to examine the log data retroactively if there is reason to suspect misuse.
Handling of personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. details that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. However, personal data also includes information regarding preferences, hobbies, memberships or websites viewed by a person.
Personal data will only be collected, used and disclosed by the provider if permitted by law or if the user consents to it.
Contact
When the provider is contacted (for example, via the contact form or email) the information provided by the user is saved for the purposes of processing the request, also in the event that follow-up is required.
Integration of third-party services and content
Third-party content such as YouTube videos, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites may be integrated into this online offer. This always necessitates registration of the user’s IP address by the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as the ‘third-party provider’) because without the IP address, the third-party providers would not be able to send the content to the respective user’s browser. The IP address is hence required for displaying such content. We strive to use only content for which the respective provider solely uses the IP address for sending the content. However, we cannot ensure that third-party providers do not save the IP address, e.g., for statistical purposes. We will notify the user should such activity become known to us.
Withdrawal of consent, changes, corrections and updates
The user has the right to receive information pertaining to the personal data collected about him or her upon request at no charge. Furthermore, the user has the right to correct inaccurate data and to block or delete personal data unless there is a legal obligation to retain such data.
